Raúl Alberto Moreno Ruiz, from Mexico, graduated with a degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, receiving the degree after researching the removal of Arsenic in well waters in the region using a manganese oxyhydroxide. In 2023, he obtained the Master's degree in Chemical Science and Technology in which he synthesize a ceramic material to introduce it into the body through chemotherapy and eliminate cancer cells in the department of Advanced Ceramic Materials and Energy from the Facultad de Ciencias Químicas of the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila. He is currently studying a PhD at the UIMP in colaboration with the ICTP (CSIC) on the preparation of activated carbon and bio-based polymeric materials from industrial waste in Madrid, Spain. Under the supervision of Dr. Mario Hoyos Núñez. His main scientific interests are bio-composites for applications in energy storage devices. |
