Miguel Ángel is within the World's top 2% scientist based on the information compiled by a study of the University of Stanford.

Miguel Ángel is within the top 10 national researchers in the area of Polymer Science, and Raquel has made it to the top 20. The list is elaborated by grupo DIH based on the information gathered from ISI Web of Knowledge.

Sustainable Energy Storage Days

The first Sustainable Energy Storage Days in Madrid, SESDIM 2019, was celebrated in Madrid from the 8th till 11th October. The Polymer Composite Group organized this international event with more that 200 participants during 4 days. Thanks for 4 days full of scientific knowledge and really interesting talks and discussions. We enjoyed a lot!

PhD Award

Ruben obtained the award for Outstanding PhD Thesis from the University of Oviedo. See the ceremony here (min. 54.53).

International Eramus Mundus

Javier is module leader of the International Course Erasmus Mundus “Materials Science” academic joint venture of the Universidad A Coruña and the Universidad of Cambridge

CSIC research assets

The Madrid's delegation of CSIC has identified Raquel as a researcher with relevant activity in her field of research among all the Institutes based in Madrid.

Articles within the 1% of papers in Materials Science

The quality and interest of our work is internationally recognised and several of our papers are within the top 1% of the Material Science field based on a highly cited threshold for publication year elaborated by Clarivate Analytics.

Thank you!

Our work, and that of our collaborator Prof. Tiberio Ezquerra, was recognised in the Technology Watch Report of the non pneumatic rubber sector carried out by ASICE

Talgo's Award

Miguel Ángel and Raquel were awarded one of the most prestigious prizes of the Spanish technological sector, the Talgo’s Award for Technological Innovations for their work on self-extinguishing nanocomposite foams. The prize was awarded in a ceremony that took place at CSIC headquarters
