Ignacio Benito Gómez obtained his degree in Chemistry by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2022, and in 2023 he obtained his master’s degree in Organic Chemistry by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. He is currently pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Dra. Marianella Fernández Santana and Dr. Miguel Ángel López Manchado, on a project aimed at discovering novel methods for the devulcanisation of rubber waste and the development of new self-healing elastomers using this recycled rubber.
