Manal Chaib finished her Chemistry Degree at the Cadi Ayyad university in Marrakech- Morocco in 2018. Then, in 2020, she obtained her Master’s at the Institute of Science and Technology of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), specializing in Chemical Sciences and Valorization of Natural Phosphates. Her final degree and master's project was done at the Process Engineering Research Lab (PEARL) of Polytechnic Montreal- Canada. The project involved the development of a new Inconel fluidized bed thermogravimetric reactor, then she studied the thermal decomposition of phosphates in the new Inconel thermogravimetric microreactor, and finally high temperature thermodynamic simulation of phosphates using FactSage software was accomplished. She is currently pursuing her PhD under the joint supervision of Prof. Mohammed Lahcini, from Cadi Ayyad University Marrakech-Morocco, and Drs. Raquel Verdejo with Suman Thakur from Institute of Science and Technology of Polymers Madrid (ICTP-CSIC). Her major scientific fields of research are the development of novel bio-based Non-Isocyanate Polyurethane Foams, and the study the self-foaming technology mechanisms and structural, thermal and morphological properties, in order to employ them in different industrial applications. |
