Jordy Guadalupe attained the chemical engineering degree from the Universidad Autónoma, Madrid in 2017. His final degree project was carried out at the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) and consisted on the synthesis and characterization of new porous organic polymers ‘Truxene-based porous polymers: from synthesis to catalytic activity’. Little afterwards in 2018, he obtained a MSc in High Specialization in Plastics and Rubber from the Menéndez Pelayo International University, Madrid. His Master’s degree project consisted on the development of ‘Smart textiles’ using graphene and graphene oxide to coat various types of polymers fibers to obtain electric conductivity properties (Polymer Physics Group, ICTP-CSIC). Now, he is currently doing a PhD on 3D silicone printing at the Polymer Composite Group, ICTP-CSIC, under Dr Raquel Verdejo and Dr Mario Hoyos supervision in collaboration with SEI under an Industrial PhD grant from CAM. His main scientific interest includes the development of PDMS functional composites via additive manufacturing. |
