Juan Carlos Chicharro Sestines obtained his degree in Physics with specialization in materials science in 2022 from the Complutense University of Madrid. He then graduated in 2023 from the Master's degree in Energy from the same university. He had the opportunity to test research work in different fields such as porous materials (IMDEA Energía) or simulation and control of floating wind turbines (UCM). Currently he is doing his PhD about “Self-healing elastomers for soft robotics applications” under the supervision of Marianella Hernández Santana and Raquel Verdejo, where he studies novel, more sustainable elastomeric matrices for applications in surgery, prosthetics and much more. |
